Guide us with Your grace and give us courage when we are feeling afraid of the unknown, that we may remain steadfast and hopeful in our journey. For it is from You that all life is made and it is through You that we all have the power to write our stories. In Your name we pray, Amen. Throughout history, mankind has looked to something greater than themselves as the source of life. The idea of a higher being or life giver who governs whether we live or die has been an integral part of many cultures. Though this belief system comes in many forms and has been around for centuries, its power to shape faiths and cultures has remained. The life giver is often seen as the ultimate decision maker when it comes to life and death. But just as importantly, they are seen as the ultimate source of life.
